December Band info:
CCISD Family, we hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving break. Unfortunately, the Elementary building still does not have heat due to the weather conditions this past Friday and Saturday. After careful consideration, it has been decided that we will be cancelling school for all classes and campuses tomorrow Monday, November 28, 2022. We will notify you, if we must make up this time later during the school year.
We hope to have heat in the Elementary campus by the end of the day tomorrow.
Thank you for the understanding.

CCISD Family,
Over the past several days, CCISD has been in coordination with a utility company to address damage to a gas line which feeds into our campus. Unfortunately, this issue can only be resolved by removing a large portion of the line and replacing it. This caused a majority of our classrooms to be without heat during the school day. After careful consideration and many hours of collaboration with district officials, it has been decided that we will be cancelling all classes tomorrow, Friday, November 18, 2022. Due to projected low temperatures and out of the abundance of caution for the students and staff. More information will come in the next few weeks as it relates to the need, if any, of making this school day up within our current school year.
Although this was not the way we wanted to send our students and staff off into the Thanksgiving Break, I am thankful to work within a community who always puts the safety of students first, and our resiliency to address any obstacle that comes along the way. May each of you have a blessed and safe Thanksgiving, and we will see each of you soon.
Thank you,
David Rodriguez
Superintendent
